It was an absolute pleasure to photograph Nerys and Luke’s wedding at the beautiful New House Country Hotel. Located on the outskirts of Cardiff, the venue enjoys elevated views across the city while offering the feel of a peaceful countryside retreat.
With everything taking place at the hotel from the morning preparations through to the evening celebrations, the day flowed effortlessly and provided a relaxed setting for family and friends to enjoy.
My coverage began with bridal preparations in the morning before moving on to the ceremony, reception and evening festivities. Throughout the day, I focused on capturing plenty of candid moments documenting the genuine atmosphere of the celebration.
Warm, sunny weather is always welcome, allowing everyone to make the most of the hotel grounds and spend time outside enjoying the sunshine. We also took advantage of the beautiful surroundings for the couple’s portraits, using both the hotel backdrop and the panoramic views towards Cardiff.
