It was a pleasure to photograph Kim and Simon’s wedding at the beautiful The Cliff Hotel & Spa. Perched above the coastline with spectacular sea views, the venue provides a stunning setting for a wedding day, combining beautiful surroundings with the convenience of having everything in one place.
From the morning preparations right through to the evening celebrations, the entire day took place at the hotel, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for both the couple and their guests.
My coverage began with bridal preparations in the morning before moving through the ceremony, drinks reception and wedding breakfast, capturing plenty of natural moments and candid photographs along the way.
Kim and Simon planned a wonderfully relaxed celebration, and there were so many genuine interactions, laughter and memorable moments throughout the day that made for great documentary-style wedding photography.
The weather was a little mixed at times, but fortunately the skies cleared later in the evening, giving us the perfect opportunity to head out for some portraits on the cliffs, overlooking the Cardigan coastline.
Those final portraits, with the dramatic scenery and great evening light, were the perfect way to round off a fantastic day before returning to the celebrations and capturing the first dance.
