The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, is a premier art college located in the capital but also plays host to several weddings throughout the year.
Situated in the grounds surrounding Cardiff Castle and overlooking Bute Park, it is a fantastic venue for hosting wedding celebrations and provided the perfect backdrop to Rachael and Sanjeevan’s special day.
Photography coverage began with the bridal preparations at The Parkgate Hotel, a short walk through the city centre from the wedding venue. A few photos documenting the buildup led us back to the college for the arrival of the groom and wedding guests ahead of the ceremony in the Anthony Hopkins Centre.
With the formalities complete we spent much of the day taking candid photos as Rachael and Sanjeevan celebrated with their friends and family. A short drinks reception at the Anthony Hopkins Centre was followed by the evening reception in the fantastic glass walled entrance hall of the college.
We also spent a little time taking a few relaxed wedding portraits whilst taking a walk around the adjoining park, before returning to the venue for the reminder of the day for coverage of the speeches and evening entertainment.
