I recently had the pleasure of documenting the wedding of Sian and Paul. The wedding ceremony was held at St Hillary’s Church in Killay before the reception at the Oxwich Bay Hotel in Gower.
Coverage for the day began with the bridal preparations at Sian’s family home before making our way to the church to meet Paul and the arrival of the wedding guests. Photographing a wedding in a church is a nice alternative to many wedding venues but can often provide its own limitations, however on this occasion it was lovely to capture some candid moments of the wedding service.
With the formalities complete we made our way to Oxwich for the wedding reception, making a short stop on the way at the fantastic Oxwich Bay for a few photos with the bride and groom. The panoramic views across the bay easily make this one of the best locations in Gower for a wedding reception, an absolute pleasure to work here at any time of the year.
The remainder of the day was spent at the venue taking candid moments as Sian and Paul celebrated with family and friends. Coverage concluded with photos of the speeches, evening reception and first dance. A selection of images from the day are below with their wedding film released shortly.
