It was a real pleasure to photograph Isabel and Alex’s wedding at the beautiful King Arthur Hotel, right in the heart of the stunning Gower countryside. With gorgeous weather throughout the day and panoramic views surrounding the venue, it provided the perfect setting for a relaxed summer wedding.
One of the great things about the King Arthur is that everything can take place in one location, allowing the whole day to flow naturally from start to finish without any rushing around.
From the bridal preparations in the morning through to the ceremony, reception and evening celebrations, the entire wedding day was held at the venue.
This always helps create a calm atmosphere for couples and guests alike, with plenty of time to enjoy the celebrations. Isabel and Alex planned a wonderfully relaxed day, full of laughter, great company and so many natural moments that were perfect for candid photography throughout.
Later in the evening, as the sun began to drop, we also managed to head out for a few portraits at nearby Cefn Bryn. Overlooking Oxwich and the surrounding Gower countryside, it’s a great location for some relaxed portraits together away from the celebrations for a few quiet moments.
The combination of the incredible scenery, warm evening light and Isabel and Alex’s easy-going nature made for a perfect end to a brilliant wedding day before everyone returning to the King Arthur for the evening party and first dance celebrations.
