I recently had the pleasure of documenting the wedding celebrations of August and Connor. The location of their wedding reception was the historic Caer Beris Manor in Builth Wells. The venue is a Grade 2 listed manor house set in acres of woodland in the heart of the Powys countryside.
It is also a venue that I have only once previously photographed, some 15 years prior, so it was lovely to return to this grand setting for August and Connor’s incredible day.
Coverage for the day began with some photos of the venue and grounds as well as some relaxed photos and video footage of the preparations. With Connor and August getting ready at Caer Beris we could easily cover everything in the same location before capturing a unique ‘first look’ between the bride and groom ahead of their wedding ceremony.
The wedding service was held at the nearby Christ The King Catholic Church, only a short walk from the venue. Again we captured plenty of informal images during the ceremony before making our way back to Caer Beris for the remainder of the day.
The afternoon and evening were spent documenting August and Connor’s celebrations with family and friends with plenty of relaxed photos and video coverage. We also made sure we spent a little time in the stunning grounds around the estate covering some fun and relaxed wedding portraits.
A selection of images from the day are shown below with a wedding highlight film to follow shortly.
