Newcastle Emlyn, the historic market town in Carmarthenshire, was the location for the wedding celebrations of Korisha and Darren. Specifically, the Emlyn Hotel in the town played host to the wedding. With several weddings booked throughout West Wales this year, it was great to visit another new location for myself.
Coverage for the day began with the bridal preparations at nearby Roseberry House, capturing a few candid moments with Korisha as well as some lovely detail images of the dress and bridal regalia. We then took a short drive into town to meet Darren at the hotel in time for the wedding ceremony.
Once the formal service was complete the remainder of the day was spent at the Emlyn Hotel documenting the celebrations with Korisha and Darren as they mingled with their guests. The grounds at the venue offered a range of photo opportunities allowing us to take a little time out to capture a small number of family photos as well as some relaxed wedding portraits.
Located a short walk from the hotel is Newcastle Emlyn Castle. Dating back to the 13th century and providing great views across the countryside, we managed to dodge a few rain showers for some extra photos at this lovely location. Back at the hotel coverage for the day concluded with the evening reception and first dance.
