Ffion and Gwern’s wedding was a wonderful celebration of family, friends and community, beginning with preparations at their respective family homes before the ceremony at Llanwenog Church near Llanybydder. Photographing both morning preparations of the bride and groom helped tell the full story of the day, capturing the anticipation and excitement before everyone came together for the wedding ceremony at this historic church.
Following the service, we made a quick stop at Llanerchaeron, an elegant Georgian estate and with incredible gardens and parkland providing the perfect backdrop for some relaxed wedding portraits with Ffion and Gwern. From there, the celebrations continued at nearby Ty Glyn, where the sunshine ensured guests spent the afternoon outside, catching up with family and friends while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. As Ffion and Gwern are both well-known members of the local community, it was a lively celebration with a fantastic atmosphere.
Throughout the day, the focus was on documenting the celebration as it naturally unfolded, capturing plenty of candid moments. However we also made sure to spend a little time covering a few relaxed portraits at several lovely locations around the Ty Glyn estate.
Coverage continued through the evening celebrations, finishing with the first dance that brought a brilliant wedding day to a memorable close.
